Do I have to do anything if I physically move the hotspot?

If you’ve moved the hotspot in a material way - like from one address to the other, not from one window to another, then you will need to Re-assert the Hotspot’s location on the blockchain.

This will incur a fee of $5 worth of HNT or DC, and some SOL for a transaction fee.

To re-assert the location:

  1. Open the Helium Wallet app
  2. Open the Hotspots tab
  3. Select the hotspot
  4. Press Manage
  5. Press Assert Location
  6. Use the map to select your location
  7. Press Assert Location
